This critical theme took center stage at the recent Internet Society Singapore Chapter (ISOC SG) seminar, where industry experts gathered to explore the governance, ethics, and safety of real-world AI systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moderated by ISOC SG President Lim May-Ann, the panel featured insights from Dr. Ridwan Shariffdeen (SonarSource &amp; AutoCodeRover), Mark Pereira (AI Singapore), and Rajeshpal Singh (Mastercard &amp; Global Anti Scam Alliance). The discussion moved past basic regulatory compliance to focus on the core pillars of trustworthy AI: eliminating algorithmic bias, ensuring system transparency, and maintaining robust human oversight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speakers addressed pressing digital and security threats unique to Singapore, sharing practical strategies for building resilient AI models.
