This year\u2019s theme, \u201cFinance, Technology, and Governance: A Trilogy for a Sustainable Future,\u201d reflected the commitment to advancing dialogue on digital transformation and sustainability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"559\" height=\"345\" src=\"https:\/\/isocsg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/WorldDigitalEconomicsSummit.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1699\" srcset=\"https:\/\/isocsg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/WorldDigitalEconomicsSummit.png 559w, https:\/\/isocsg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/WorldDigitalEconomicsSummit-300x185.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 559px) 100vw, 559px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As an officially endorsed event of Asia Tech x Singapore (ATxSG), WDES 2025 is co-hosted by the Asia Academy of Digital Economics (AADE) and the United Nations Internet Governance Forum (UN IGF), in collaboration with leading global partners. This year also marks a significant milestone\u2014the inaugural launch of the Singapore IGF (SG IGF)\u2014highlighting Singapore\u2019s emerging role as a leader in global internet governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously the 2024 edition of the summit was graced by Mr. Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State for Communications and Information and National Development of Singapore, as the Guest of Honor. The event also featured a keynote address by Mr. Carlos Garcia, Vice-Chair of the 64th session of the UN General Assembly\u2019s Second Committee, and welcomed distinguished participants from organizations such as UNIDO, BIS, A*STAR, NVIDIA, Alibaba, DBS, and Sea Group.
