Are the methods of targeting infringers accurate? Are the tactics used by copyright owners ethical? The lawyers had\u00a0<strong>used threats of criminal proceedings to advance civil claims, thus breaching the Law Society\u2019s ethical guidelines<\/strong>\u00a0for lawyers.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.todayonline.com\/singapore\/law-firm-dallas-buyers-club-action-accused-bullying-tactics?singlepage=true\" target=\"_blank\">Read more about it on TODAYOnline<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>3 Reasons Why Dallas Buyers Club Threatening Subscribers Doesn\u2019t Stop Piracy<\/h4>\n<p>The current case of Internet users being hounded for allegedly downloading the Dallas Buyers\u2019 Club movie is an example of\u00a0 a shotgun approach to legal tactics that can only backfire.
